2 or 3 bedroom apartment for single mother

I am looking for a place to move when classes start on the fall semester. I am moving just me and my son and probably I would need to look for an au pair that lives with us. I do not speak italian yet so please contact me in english, french, portuguese or spanish.
It would be good if the apartment is between the university and a good school that my 4 year old son could go to. He will be almost 5 when we go there.
