What is it like to live in Bologna? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
The city is really beautiful and has a huge "città alta" (a medieval area surrounded by Venetian wall). Bologna is small enough so you can reach most things in half an hour, and big enough that everyday there is something going on.
How much does it cost to live in Bologna?
Housing situation is very bad in Bologna! If you want to rent a single private room, you can find it for a price between 300 and 600 euros more or less. But you can also get a double room, which are cheaper.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bologna? Is there any advice you can give?
My advice is not to wait until September to look for accommodation, it is better do it as soon as posible!
What places would you recommend visiting in Bologna?
Some of the essential places in Bologna are: St. Luca, due Torri et Giardini Margherita.
