What is it like to live in Bologna? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Actually, I don't live in Bologna. I study in a little city not so close to Bologna. However, Bologna is a very big city, dynamic but like big cities, a little bit chaotic, too. I don't know whether recommend it or not, I go there just for the university's activities but much more to have fun and go out.

What is the student lifestyle like in Bologna?

I think that I cannot say generally how the student lifestyle is in Bologna. I know that Bologna is a typical university city, so there are many facilities for students.

How much does it cost to live in Bologna?

Bologna isn't so expensive as one may think, it is a big city and a university so it could not be anything but affordable to students' pocket

Just as for what concerns accomodation, usually rooms in flats can be quite expensive.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bologna? Is there any advice you can give?

Finding accommodation is quite difficult. Sometimes there are really expensive places or so old that living there it could be impossible. However, don't be scared cause even if it is difficult Bologna is a big city and no one has been homeless. The only advice I can give you, it's only to look for accommodation in time. Don't do it if you have little time!

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

That's Italy, so food cannot be anything but wonderful.; ) Btw, it's not only about Italian food, in Bologna you can find whatever you want, every type of dish can be found. My favourite dishes are the typical ones: From tortellini to piadina, you cannot make a mistake.

What places would you recommend visiting in Bologna?

Bologna has to be discovered. There are many places to be visited, but I have also to tell you that Bologna is close and well linked to other beatiful Italian cities.

Is the nightlife good in Bologna? Where is good to go?

There's always something to do in the nighlife in Bologna. You should only decide what to do.

What advice would you give future students heading to Bologna?

Just enjoy Bologna lifestyle, you cannot than be satisfied! ;)
