How is the student atmosphere in Bologna?

Perfect, better than anywhere else!

Would you recommend the city and the University of Bologna to other students?

Of course... it's impossible to be disappointed.

How is the food in this country?

Emilia Romagna is a region worldly known for its extraordinary gastronomy. You can eat at very affordable prices and treat yourself!

Have you had difficulties finding accommodation in Bologna?

Yes and no. Do not look for accommodation through real estate agencies (believe me, I had very big problems there). As Bologna is a student city you'll easily find single or double rooms. Many ads are displayed in via Zamboni, the university street.

What's the cost of living in Bologna?

In the city center to do everyday shopping in a supermarket, the prices are quite high. Gas bills too. The rents are very very expensive compared to France (except in Paris) about 350-400 euros per month.

How is language learning? Have you been to language courses organized by the university?

Yes, we take language lessons. Italian language is very easily learnt, also thanks to friendships and encounters.

What is the cheapest way to get to Bologna from your city?

By plane.

What places would you recommend for partying in Bologna?

You must subscribe to ESEG Bologna and you will be informed of all the parties there; -)

And to eat in Bologna? What are your preferred locations?

The "aperitivo" is great. From 5:30 pm all bars/cafés organize some for 6 to 9 euros, it's the best plan. Otherwise Osteria dell'Orsa, the best place to taste all the typical culinary traditions.

What cultural visits would you recommend?

You have to go to San Luca and climb the two towers in the center.
