Why did you choose to go to Bologna, Italy?

It's a beautiful city, full of museum, culture, good restaurants, amazing and very friendly people, plenty of Erasmus. There is always something to do in this city. It's impossible to get bored. And also because I wanted to learn Italian of course.

How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?

I am in Bologna to make an internship with erasmus + for 4 month. I got more than 600 € with erasmus for 4 month.

What is the student lifestyle like in Bologna?

Easy!

Like I said before, Bologna is a student city. We can always fine something to do, aperitivo, club, museum, festival...

Would you recommend the city and the University of Bologna to other students?

Absolutely! There is not hesitation to have!

What is the food like?

Pizza, pasta, vine... all is very good. And i's very easy to find local product for people who like fresh vegetables, meat, pasta...

The only thing if I can say, it's a bit always the same thing, pizza, pasta... different types of course but still pizza and pasta. There is not a big diversity. But it's like that everywhere in Italy.

Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Bologna?

No, I found it on subito.it

How much does it cost to live in Bologna?

Around 500€ if you live out of the city, more than 800 if you live in the center storico.

Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?

I don't know, I am making an internship.

What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Bologna from your city?

Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Bologna?

Close to Piazza Maggiore, you will always find something cool to do there, and it's beautiful in the night.

What good cultural sites are there to visit?

The archeologie Museum.

Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Bologna in the future?

Start to look for a flat very early, it's hard to find one in Bologna, especially for erasmus student.
