Why did you choose to go to Bologna, Italy?
I wanted to get to know a new culture and I heard good things about Italy.
How long is the scholarship? How much money do you receive to help you with living costs?
6 months, 1200 euro.
What is the student lifestyle like in Bologna?
Easy-going.
Would you recommend the city and the University of Bologna to other students?
I would, because it is easy; but the the home situation is very difficult here.
What is the food like?
The food is typical italian.
Did it cost you to find your accommodation in Bologna?
Yes, and I still have not found something good in the city center, that is why I can't really enjoy Bologna.
How much does it cost to live in Bologna?
It is quite expensive because there are so many students here.
Is the language easy to get to grips with? Are there language courses available at the University?
Yes, the courses are free, but you have to apply for them early.
What's the easiest or most economical way to travel to Bologna from your city?
I traveled with Flixbus.
Where would you recommend to go on a night out in Bologna?
In the center there are a lot of bars.
And for eating? Can you recommend some good restaurants in Bologna?
Lab 16 was good, it is an aperitivo.
What good cultural sites are there to visit?
Piazza maggiore.
Is there any other advice that you could give to students going to Bologna in the future?
Just plan your stay early, especially your home
