Erasmus experience in Bologna, Italy
Why did you choose to go to Bologna, Italy?
Because that was the first University in Europe.
How long was your scholarship? How much money did you get to cover your expenses?
My scholarship was for 3 months. I did my internship. If it is an internship, the scholarship is higher. So the scholarship that I received was almost enough.

The students are everywhere, you have no hard time. The people are so cool, you don't need to stress.
Do you recommend Bologna and its universities to other students?
Absolutely, it is a student city.
How is the food?
I swear that I ate in my home but an Italian classic are pizzas and pastas which are delicious in general.
How did you find accommodation?
Through "Nuovo mondo", it is a SAIS university foundation that helps students with accommodation,
How are prices of accommodation? And the prices in general?
The price for the room varies between 150 euro and 500-600 euro. The price changes depending on the room, double or single, with bills included, closeness to the center, number of flatmates. You can find a double room with everything included for around 300 euro. The hotel prices start at 60 euro. The hostels cost around 25 euro.
If you rent a house, they all ask for deposit.
Was it easy to deal with language? Were there any language courses at the University?
Yes, it is so important. In general, they do not speak English (in the stores, bus drivers, etc. ). Even most of the teenagers don't know it either. Especially, if you think about staying longer, I recommend to learn Italian.

It depends where you come from, but the train is the cheapest way.
Where do you recommend for a night out in Bologna?
You can go anywhere, just pay attention when you walk in the street. There are a lot good quality and fun places. Even you don't have money, you don't need to enter anywhere, just take your drink, sit down in front of a place with live music and enjoy.
Which restaurants do you recommend in Bologna?
There is Due Torri Pizzeria if you turn left from Due Torri. They sell pizza slices, but I believe that's the most delicious pizza that you will try here.

You can find history everywhere, all the buildings are old. On the other hand, there are lots of museums in the center.
