It's a little bit expensive to live here, as many products are imported from other areas of the country.
Was it difficult to find accomodation in Boa Vista? What advice would you give?
This is not a touristic city and, for me, the rent was quite expensive. I would advise that you live in a flat near the university campuses, as public transport isn't reliable.
What's the food like in Brazil? What are your favourite dishes?
The food is normal. There aren't many options outside the city centre. However, due to the diversity/mobility of people, you can get a decent meal in most parts of Brazil.
What places would you recommend visiting in Boa Vista?
Praça das Águas and Orla Taumanan.

There are many bars and restaurants that have varying opening hours.
Where are the best places to go out in Boa Vista?
There aren't many places to go out, but there are some clubs that are open Fridays and Saturdays.
Any advice you want to give to future students going to Boa Vista?
The city is small and very warm throughout the year, but the calmness and lack of violence which is present in other Brazilian cities agrees well with student life.
