What is it like to live in Blagoevgrad? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Blagoevgrad is wonderful and very well developing town, about 100 000 population with the students. There are few universities, so you can imagine there are a lots of young people and a lots of fun. The town is very near to the mountines, monastrys, caves, hot mineral water baths and many other interesting and nice places. I really recommend this town :)

What is the student lifestyle like in Blagoevgrad?

You should go and experience it...It`s party every day.

How much does it cost to live in Blagoevgrad?

It depend where,
and how you live. I quess the minimum for rent, food and going out some time is about 700-up to 1000 Leva which is approx. 350-500euro.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Blagoevgrad? Is there any advice you can give?

I think that is very easy to find accomodation.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

It`s traditional bulgarian cusine, eating in restaurants is not expensive, so you can try all the meals.

What places would you recommend visiting in Blagoevgrad?

I would recommend park Bachinovo, the Rose garden, the old town Varosha, the central church...

Yes, there is places with different music, so you will have a big choice where to go.
