What is it like to live in Bishkek? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
There are a lot of bars and night clubs in Bishkek, but for tourist, there is not much to catch, it is better to visit some other magnificent places out of Bishkek, like Issyk-Kul (5 hours from Bishkek), Jeti-Oguz (8 hours) etc.
What is the student lifestyle like in Bishkek?
It is pretty affordable.
How much does it cost to live in Bishkek?
Roughly with a rent and all other expenses 200 $ would be enough.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bishkek? Is there any advice you can give?
No it is not, but it might be difficult to find accommodation in early autumn, since a lot of students from the regions enter capital universities, accommodation prices are a bit higher than usual at that time.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Wonderful. I like Dungan kitchen.
What places would you recommend visiting in Bishkek?

- Kvartira bar.
