35 year old male post-doc looking for a place to stay in Berlin

I'm a post-doctoral fellow with the Max-Planck Institute, staying in Berlin from September 2017 to March 2019.  I'm quiet, easy-going, and friendly, up late and early to rise.  Most of my time is spent working, although I am quite active in my free time.  I love to run long distances so you will see me coming and going early in the mornings or evenings after work.  I trave a lot for work so that I won't always be around.  I am married, but my wife cannot join me in Berlin because of her career.  

I am looking for a somewhat private, furnished place to stay.  A private room in a shared apartment or a private studio is perfect. I don't need a large space, so long as it is comfortable.  I've never had problems with or complaints from flat-mates or host families in the past.  Please feel free to email or call me any time, I'm usually free.
