30 years old women alone looking for accomodation in Berlin

My name is Ana Lucía Fernández from Costa Rica. I was awarded by The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) to start my PhD at Freie Universität Berlin in October 2014. I am also a Professor at the University in my country and they are cofounding my studies so I´m doing well and I have documents to prove this.

Right now I´m in Leipzig doing a 4 months German course, which my scholarship includes. Therefore, I´m looking an apartment in Berlin because I going to start my classes at FU Berlin in October. I ´m very interesting in moving to Berlin mid-September or early October.  Also, my studies last for almost 4 years, so it would be a long term stay.

I´m interesting in an apartment for myself and I wish can be furniture, because I just arrive to Germany and I do not have almost anything with me yet. I would like 1 room apartment(studio) or 2 rooms apartment.

I´m available to go to Berlin at any weekend to see the apartment.
