24 y/o Mexican student looking for a place to live and meet interesting people

Hello Berliners!!
I'm a 24yo Mexican student, and I've been lucky enough to have been awarded the opportunity of studying and living in one of the best cities (the best?) in the world starting this coming semester. 
I´m starting an Msc on neuroscience at charite, and I'm looking for a room on a flatshare near the city center, (Charité is in Mitte)
Things i´m looking for:
-Rent around €400 (could be a little more, but no more than 500)
-Looking to visit and then move before Sept. 1st
-Calm enviroment with good people and fun/interesting conversations
-Can be all Male or mixed

A little about me: I'm a pretty easy-going guy, I'm quite disciplined with personal and space hygene. I do not smoke. Some of the activities I enjoy the most during my free time are: reading, playing/watching football, cooking and brewing, but most of all learning, both from people and experiences.
