24 year old student looking for an apartment

Hello, 

My name is Mark. I am a graduate of the University of Toronto with a bachelors degree in History and Philosophy. I graduated with High Distinction in June 2015. I have since been working as a Law Clerk here in my native Toronto. I am moving to Berlin because I was recently accepted into a Masters Level History program at the Freie University. I am very much looking forward to moving to Berlin and pursuing this new program in the fall of this year. I am a clean and quiet person who enjoys reading. 

I would be looking for a one bedroom apartment for myself and my girlfriend who will be joining me later. She works as a saleswoman and will be seeking employment in the booming Berlin tech field. For the first month or so, it will only be myself residing in the apartment. Neither of us have any pets.
