21 year old girl with a cat, looking for accommodation in Berlin

I'm attending Freie Universität in the fall and am looking for place for me and my cat to stay from August–December 2018. It can be a house or apartment, doesn't matter. I'd prefer somewhere close to the campus or anywhere in between the campus and central Berlin near public transportation. I'm easygoing and enjoy spending time with others and going out but I also keep to myself at times. I love music and the arts, although I'm not an artist myself. I'm vegan, so it would be nice to have roommates who are also health-conscious eaters, but it's not essential.
