20 year old girl moving to Berlin in July, looking for a short term room :D

Hello, my name is Erla Svanlaug Riedel I am from Iceland. I am 19 years old and will be turning 20 in November. I am moving to Berlin on the 1 of July and I am looking for a short-term room to stay in while I am finding a job so I can rent on my own. Why I want to move to Germany is to get to know the other half of myself. My dad is from Germany and unfortunately, we never got to meet so I want to get to know him through living there and get the chance to get to know my family.
In Iceland, I work with children and take side jobs in modeling. My hobbies are making videos, photography, and painting. I am a very organized and a clean person. I recycle and I am vegan. I speak a little German, I studied for two and a half year in school here in Iceland. :D :D
