What is it like to live in Beijing? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
It's full of vitality. You could meet different interesting people and broaden your horizon. Beijing, with a so long history, is really worth to visit and study there. But the pollution in winter, when it's cold, is really serious. but it's gonna be changed.
What is the student lifestyle like in Beijing?
Amazing, expositions, workshops, volunteer activities and variety of internships, because so many famous schools and international enterprises are there.
How much does it cost to live in Beijing?
It depends. If u study in a university, who will offer a dormitory room, really cheap, around 1000rmb for Chinese students, I'm not sure for international students. If u want to rent outside, around 4000rmb/month, 2000rmb for food, 300rmb for transportation, 1000 for leisure activities.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Beijing? Is there any advice you can give?
Not difficult.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
We can enjoy food from anywhere.

What places would you recommend visiting in Beijing?
The great wall, The forbidden city, Summer Palace, The Bird's Nest and the Water Cube.
Is it good to eat out in Beijing? Can you tell us your favourite spots?
Sure.
Everywhere, especially near universities.
Is the nightlife good in Beijing? Where is good to go?
No doubt, Wudaokou and Houhai.
What advice would you give future students heading to Beijing?
There is everything you want in Beijing, enjoy it!
