The Position

Pierce is one of Europe’s most successful online retailers. We are growing rapidly,and we are currently looking for Translators in Barcelona, Spain,where we have opened a brand new Support office right on Plaza Cataluña.The team there will provide great translations for most of our European markets and we expect it to continue to keep expanding.

Translators will have the critical task of translating web content for the Pierce customers. Our clientsnot only expect great products at the best prices, they have also come to know us as friendly motorcycle experts who love to help people enjoy who riding.As part of this experience we provide high quality translated descriptions of all products on our website.While performing this critical job,you will receive great support from our dedicated and experienced management.

About us

It is said that many successful businesses have started in the garage, so it feels good that this was exactly how it all started for us. The eternal hunt for motorcycle spare parts and lack of good suppliers sparked the idea of stocking and selling motorcycle parts online and offering a fast and reliable service. Within only a few months we grew out from the garage and in 2009 we started Pierce AB and launched 24MX, where we started to sell spare parts and equipment for the motocross world. Sales grew in a way that we never could have imagined. At the beginning of 2009 we were only a team of 4, today we are more than 200, committed to providing our customers a huge range of products and an extraordinary level of service.Pierce is currently active in 17European markets. We are expandingrapidly in all our segments; offroad, onroad, and snowmobiles. The goal is to strengthen the positions of our three brands (24MX, XLmoto, and Sledstore) to drive both sales and market share as the market continues to shift from offline to online. We expect to continue to invest heavily in growth during the upcoming years and need a professional customer service representativesto help achieve our targets.

About you

Knowledge, skills & abilities:

• Your native language is Polish,French, German, Italian,Danish, German, Norwegian, Dutch,English,Swedish or Finnish.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• You have a high level of computer literacy and typing skills

• You bring a can-do attitude,a resolution orientated and have a positive mindset

• You have experience within a contact center environment

• Previous experiencetranslatingin a fast-growing online retail environment is considered a plus, as is any affinity with motorcycles!

Essential duties & Responsibilities

• You will translate product descriptions and other content across the Pierce websites

• You will convey the friendly and professional Pierce tone of voice in your translations

• You will connect with the team to ensure that all translations meet our technical and written quality standards

• Youwill work with set priorities and help to keep the rapidly expanding Pierce product catalog up to date in all languages

• Specific day-to-day tasks will include:

• Translate product descriptions

• Translate other marketing web content

• Participate in team coordination meetings

• Review performance metrics
