You will join a young, dynamic and international team working in the centre of Barcelona.
We are looking for a competent Logistics Specialist to oversee and facilitate the supply chain operations of our company in the USA & Canada markets. You will be the one to coordinate personnel and processes to achieve the effective distribution of goods, liaising directly with our stakeholders and working alongside the Customer Service & Business Development department
The goal is to ensure the smooth operations of a variety of channels aiming for maximum efficiency. For this reason the right person must have strong communication and negotiation skills, be well-versed in supply management principles and practices. The ideal candidate will have great record-keeping abilities and a customer-oriented approach.
Main responsibilities
- Being the intermediary between product shipments and carriers to coordinate all services
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
- Monitoring of transport anomalies: Delays, Wrong place of delivery, misdirected
- Management and monitoring of order flows with the various warehouses and carriers: Missing items, backorders, delays, etc.
- Recruit and coordinate logistics partners according to availabilities and requirements
- Communicate with suppliers, retailers, customers etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction
- Ensure premises, assets and communication ways are used effectively
- Utilize logistics IT to optimize procedures
- Plan and track the shipment of final products according to customer requirements
- Keep logs and records of warehouse stock, executed orders etc.
- Organization and monitoring of KPIs: Monitoring indicators + Implementation of action procedures.
- Coordinate with the Customer Service team to effectively manage and align customer expectations.
- Daily and weekly reports preparation for upper management
- Plan order preparation and transport for large orders.
- Implementation of new transport processes.
- To ensure a great customer service quality.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience as logistics coordinator
- Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Determined and assiduous, you will have at heart to build customer loyalty and achieve your daily objectives.
- Proficient level of English, advanced level of French, both written and spoken. Another european language would be valued.
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in customer service will be appreciated
- Excellent spreadsheet knowledge. Working knowledge of logistics software will be a plus
- BSc/BA in supply chain management or relevant field will be a plus
Conditions & Benefit
Competitive base salary + bonus (according to internal policy)
Permanent contract with 2 months of probation period.
Full time 40h/week
