We are looking for highly motivated native Business Developers to develop our operations in Belgium, UK, Portugal and Nordics.

We offer a 6 month internship as a training and test period (with fix + attractive variable), with the clear opportunity to sign a long term contract and lead a new business unit / new subsidiary after this period according to objective achievement.

Location: Barcelona, Spain, with business trips in Europe.

Job type: Full time internship (6 months as from January) in an international business development team.

DESCRIPTION OF THE COMPANY: SPLIO is an international SaaS software editor delivering marketing services, e-commerce services and direct marketing platforms in 15 countries.

SPLIO started in 2001, has a strong growth rate and constantly evolving products.

SPLIO’s solutions improve the effectiveness of multichannel relationship programs by delivering innovative and superior softwares, customized to meet the specific needs of its clients.

SPLIO EUROPE (newly created european hub for business development and client service) is based in Barcelona.

JOB OVERVIEW: The SPLIO EUROPE Junior Business Developer works with the European Board members to develop SPLIO business in new European countries (specifically in his / her native country) by performing the following tasks:

  • New business development: Finding new clients 80%
    • Gather information & qualify new prospects, use and optimize existing tools (phoning, emails, and other follow-up tools), abroad prospection trips and meetings with prospects together with the specific board member, N+1 daily feedbacks and reporting.
    • Analyse & synthesize market data, competition benchmarks, business development plans and development of sales arguments.
  • Client management 10%
    • Manage new accounts previously signed; set relationships / organize service / manage campaigns, reporting and consulting
  • Collaboration in the communication strategy 10%
    • Promotion and sales actions (fairs, partnerships, networking…), localization of existing tool on your local market, coordination of PR actions with the global PR manager.

FUTURE OPPORTUNITIES: Long term contract offered to successful Interns that achieved qualitative and quantitative objectives with the objective to progressively be responsible for the management of the operations of a business unit or a news subsidiary.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED (professional & personal):

  • Very high selling skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: Person who would like to run a business unit and maybe a new country in the future
  • Proactive and attraction for big challenges, with emotional stability.
  • Connects well internally and externally, ability to quickly maintain trustworthy professional relationships
  • Well structured, analytical and pragmatic approach to problem solving, hands-on mentality.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tackle demanding goals, to show enthusiasm, drive and determination at all times.
  • Familiar with the creation, optimization and use of efficient reporting tools.
  • Native in any of following languages : English, Danish, Portuguese, Swedish, Portuguese
  • Fluent in English.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Online &/or software knowledges
  • Interest for Internet sector
  • Student in last year of Business School or University
  • French would be a plus.

SALARY: 750€ (+sales commissions)
