27 year old master students looking for accomodation in barcelona

A place where we can live for 13 months while we do our master degree. We are in search of a peaceful neighbourhood free of loud parties. We are very silent and we are focused on studying. Additionally, we need a place where we can cook and that is close by walking or metro to Unversitat Pompeu Fabra in the Ciutadella campus.  It would be nice if the apartment is only shared with the person I am travelling with since we are both very focused on our studies. We are both students who come with few money since we got a scholarship in our country.
