26 Year old Film student looking for accommodation in Barcelona

In New Orleans, I organized a showcase where seven local artist came together to promote awareness for a local community center. As it all came together I realized that this was my purpose in life: I was created to create- art that is. I eventually moved to New Orleans from Richmond, Virginia and left behind everything and everyone I knew. I realized that submerging myself in the culture and unfamiliar experiences amplified my craft. It gave me the chance to get in touch with my soul. I found joy by embracing art; I was consumed by it. As my hunger to learn more grew, I picked up a camera and began to see life through the lens, capturing the extravagance of the world through photographs. Presently I moved back to the metro area and I found myself less artistically challenged and inspired, which influenced me to do extensive research, trying to change my life how New Orleans did. This is when that research led me to OTOXO Productions( located in Barcelona )film making internship. With the powers of the universe by my side I landed a spot with the company and start September 1st –April 1st. I know that if I travel across the Atlantic Ocean, removing myself from familiar elements, and engulfing myself in a whole new culture while exploring this passion through your company is going to redefine “life” for me. This company will provide more than “just” learning the ins and outs of filmography and video production, but it will provide me with the experience to create while acculturating with your company. It will help me continue to fulfil my purpose in life- to create art and exercise my motto “‘the world is my classroom, to live is to create.”

I have encountered numerous failures trying to pursue my visions in the art world, which left me overwhelmingly frustrated. Despite being turned down, projects being cancelled, and no funding’s, I was still determined to succeed. They say the true measurement of failure is when you give up. I learned that failure is a learning experience. With that being said I’m a chill hippy chic type of dude who has endless creativity, unquenchable thirst for knowledge. I am an embracer of diversity, and self-motivated even in the most unbalanced times in my life
