Original things to do with a date in Barcelona

It's undeniable, Erasmus is the only opportunity in your life to have new experiences and to meet new people. Bearing in mind the ingredients in this cocktail, it's not a rare thing for romantic relationships to flourish non-stop, be they a one night situation or a relationship that you build up to survive Erasmus and the distance between the different countries you come from.

So if you're on Erasmus in Barcelona and you end up finding a partner and you'd like to surprise them with a different and original plan, take note of what the "Cuidad Condal" has to offer to you.

Couples massages

Why not? Maybe it's a bit out there for couples who are just starting their relationship, but if you've already got enough confidence, this kind of experience will bring you much closer together and will help you get the most out of having new experiences as a couple.

Bars with original themes

Barcelona has a place to suit all tastes and hobbies. And it has a list of themed bars that is so long that it would be impossible not to find one that your partner will like. There are bars you can go to with dogs (you can ask for a special drink for them) and others where you'll find cats (which are up for adoption). There are also Harry Potter and Beatles themed bars. And if you like bicycles, there's also a place for you... And I could go on and on with all of the bars, so now you know that know about them, find your own bar!

Microtheatre

If you like culture, but you don't want to be shut up for a whole afternoon in a huge theatre to appreciate hours and hours of a play, which would eat up the little time that you have to be together, I propose you go to the microtheatre, since the plays barely even last 15 mintues, they're entertaining and they're perfect for all members of the public.

A drink with a view

If you've been in Barcelona for a while, you'll already know about this. One of the nicest things about the city are its views from high up, so this suggestion is to have a drink in the bars that have the best views of the city. For example, without leaving the city centre, you have the terraces of a lot of hotels, where you'll be able to have a cocktail next to a swimming pool and to see your favourite streets from high up. You can also go to the La Caseta del Migdia, it has views out over the sea, or from the Avenida del Tibidabo with views from Collserrolla.
