Live full!
There is something that changes inside of you, right when you go to that other country and start your Erasmus experience... It's like going but to primary school.. Remember those times? Everything was easier back then. The world was a beautiful and colorful place full of things waiting to be discovered... No worries, no problems; and everybody was your friend... You just met somebody and said “Hey, do you want to be friends?”. And just like that, you had a new friend...Remember how easy it was?
Well, Erasmus is like that! You have a new, beautiful world ahead of you waiting to be discovered; a whole new set of people about to be your friends... Just like in primary school, but in a more grown up way...maybe.. :P Every day is like your first day all over again... I met almost 10 new persons every day... And, in most cases, one out of those ten has grown to be one of the people I love and miss more in my life... as if we knew each other all our lives.. And we have, actually because, as we all have heard:
“Erasmus is not six months in a lifetime, but a lifetime in six months”
And when you have to live an entire life in such small period of time, you have to experience everything ten times more intensely! You have to believe everything is ten times easier... You have to “Carpe Diem”! Seize the day!
(For all my Erasmus friends... I really miss you and I'm sorry that we haven't talked that much... I'll try to change that.. Promise! )
