What is it like to live in Bangalore? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?
It is like HOME to live in Bangalore. The ambience, hospitality,multicultural channel you get here is unparalleled. The weather is just so optimum that it never gets unbearable. Here one can wake up to see a rain drizzled morning sunny noons and winter nights. Travel all over the country and then come to Bangalore and you feel you are home all over again. I would absolutely recommend anyone and everyone to visit the place.
What is the student lifestyle like in Bangalore?
Student lifestyle in Bangalore is like all one can ask. The living is not so expensive and can be easily affordable. This place shows a different view of life. The exposure one gets here is immeasurable. One can diminish or grow to great heights here.
How much does it cost to live in Bangalore?
You have say 5-8 thousand rupees (INR) you can live a peaceful life as a student. But depends on the lifestyle one chooses. It can take up to 50 thousand also if you are not a wise spender.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bangalore? Is there any advice you can give?
Its absolutely not difficult find accommodation in Bangalore. There are various forms that one can find.There are hostels small houses and one can also stay as a paying guest. One can always find brokers and real estate people who can help in finding one.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Food is something you should really try. From French to Italian to Mexican to Chinese name a style and there is everything that you want but all one has to try when one is in India is try the Indian food. May it be the spicy dishes or the sweets or the Indian breads. This is something that you must try and you ll never fail to appreciate it or come back craving for more.
What advice would you give future students heading to Bangalore?
If you want some different kind of exposure from what you already have please go on because you are gonna love your stay. Its a wise investment if you are wise enough to play your game well. Make sure where you put your money because everything might sound cheap with your currency converted but b smart enough to not trust everyone. Make good friends while you are here and you shall see how loving a Indian home can be.
