What is it like to live in Bangalore? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Bangalore is one of the most modern cities in India, in terms of infrastructure and attitudes of the people. It is also quite an expensive city compared to the other cities in India. Bangalore is characterised by extremely good whether. Though the days are hot, the evenings are almost always cool and pleasant. The city is quite developed but you will still find plenty of trees and lakes around, giving it the name "Garden City".

What is the student lifestyle like in Bangalore?

Bangalore is home to many reputed universities. Lots of students come from other parts of India to study here. We do have quite a few international students as well, many of them from African and South East Asian countries. Many universities are located within the city limits and close to bars, restaurants and other entertainment like shopping malls and movie theatres.

How much does it cost to live in Bangalore?

Bangalore is definitely one of the more expensive cities in India. However, it also offers a range of things to suit your budget. Staying in the city tends to be expensive but there are tons of options outside the city. The same goes for food, drinks, clothes and entertainment. There are always cheap options in addition to the expensive ones. Keep in mind that what is considered expensive in India may not be expensive for you. 1 euro = approx 70 Indian rupees
