What is it like to live in Bangalore? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

It is a lovely and vibrant city. There are mix of various cultures and customs in this city and you will find people from all over India and plenty of tourists here.

What is the student lifestyle like in Bangalore?

Student life is fun and exciting. There are a lot of things to do as a student, be it party or recreation.

How much does it cost to live in Bangalore?

Compared to a few metropolitan cities in India and the world as such, it is relatively cheaper to live in Bangalore.

Is it difficult to find accommodation in Bangalore? Is there any advice you can give?

It's not too difficult to find accomodation in Bangalore. There are a lot of PG's (Paying guests) or rooms and can easily be found online or by word of mouth.

What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?

Gastronomy is very diverse. There are cuisines from all over India as well as the world which can be found here.
My favourites are North Indian and the Italian cuisine.

What places would you recommend visiting in Bangalore?

Depending on the purpose of visit and stay, there are numerous places one can visit. The various malls, cubbon park, lalbagh are but a few of them. Some of the lesser known and obscure streets serve mouthwatering local cuisine.

Is it good to eat out in Bangalore? Can you tell us your favourite spots?

It is good to eat out in Bangalore. There is a diverse cuisine available which can cater to any palette.
My favourite spots to eat are Chianti, Mainland China and barbeque nation

Is the nightlife good in Bangalore? Where is good to go?

The nightlife in Bangalore is excellent. There are a variety of places where parties happen all over the city. Indiranagar, Koramangala, mg road are some of the areas where there is the most nightlife.

What advice would you give future students heading to Bangalore?

Bangalore is an easy going city and is very relaxed for students. Food, accomodation and recreation is not a problem at all. Future students will have a lot of fun studying in Bangalore.
