Hi all,

I will be on Erasmus in Bamberg for the winter semester 2012. Is anyone else coming? I am from Italy and I am looking forward to meeting other people. I will be there studying English literature. I have in theory already found my accomodation - I will be living at a student dorm.

I am also going on Erasmus in Bamberg for the whole next academic year :) I am from Slovenia and studying marketing communication and pr. I also aplied for student dorm. Which one did you choose? Are you going to preparatory course?

Hello everyone,

I will be in Bamberg from September 9 to July 2013. I'm from the United States, still really young (19), and I am looking forward to meeting other international students. :D
I am on a study abroad year, and I will be taking classes in German (C1 level probably), French, linguistics, and Swedish. I also applied for a student dorm.
I have already met some Germans from Bamberg because they went to my university this past year (2011/2012) and told me that it's a really nice school.
Sara, I've met a couple people from Slovenia before. Slovenians are pretty cool!

Hi guys! 

I will be in Bamberg for the winter semester, but I'm still waiting for the application form and other forms for the tandem project and for the student dorm. I study in Naples, Italy, but actually I'm Ukrainian. Probably I will be studying International marketing and stuff like that, I haven't decided yet. And I'm going to apply for the preparatory course too, I know only few words in German :))

Hey everyone, feel free to join the Erasmus Bamberg 2012/2013 Facebook group! (Type in "erasmus bamberg 2012/2013" in the Search bar on Facebook.) Most everyone on it is from Spain and so most of the people on it are Spanish, but that's why it'd be cool to get people from everywhere there :)

Lukasz, here is the list of classes available: http://univis.uni-bamberg.de/. But I couldn’t find many courses for the next year; there are only courses offered in a current term. Also, the list of courses offered in English is available at: http://www.uni-bamberg.de/auslandsamt/studieren-in-bamberg/ich-moechte-nach-bamberg/mit-austauschprogramm/. Hope it helps :)

You can find the courses for the Winter Semester 2012/2013 on there by clicking on the top right hand menu to "WS 2012/2013"

Of course, it's all in German, and the warning message reads "ACHTUNG: Alle in diesem Semester angezeigten Daten sind vorläufig!", which translates to "WARNING: All data shown for this semester are subject to change."

All of the courses I needed to find were there, but maybe certain departments don't have all of their courses up yet. I'm only taking language classes, not business or journalism or anything :P

Who going live in the dormitory of the university ? Somebody have photos or information about this?

Hi Jess and Claudia,

I also applied for the dorms and I have not gotten anything yet. However, they said I would be getting information this month. It's kind of the end of the month, though...

Since I live in the US, though, I should get mine later than yours, Claudia, so you'll probably get it first.

I'm sure we'll all get a whole bunch of information soon, though, so don't worry O:
