Generally, what is Balikesir University like?

I think Balikesir University is good in average. It is location allows people to reach holiday places easly.

What are the facilities like?

Facilities are getting better every year as the university settling down newly as an indipenent university. All the faculties are gatering in campus. Before they were devided in the city and campus. There are facilities u can do sports (footbal, basketball, volleyball, court tennis, table tennis, awimming, fitness etc.)

What are the tutors like?

Tutors are both good and bad. But i cant talk about all to tutors. İ know just some. They have good relations with students. They participate sport activities together with their students. In case of professional knowledge, they are real good but sometimes their methods to transfer the knowledge to students are bad.

Are the lessons easy in Balikesir University?

That depends in which departnent you are studying in. For example, department of physics is very hard. Educational faculty's departmens are not the hard but also there is no department i can call so easy

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

Every year there is sprong festivals. The activities in the festival is changing from year to year but generally, there are concerts, cmpetitions, games etc.
