What is it like to live in Aviles? Would you recommend it? What is the city like?

Aviles is a small, beautiful medieval city near tο the port and the industrial area. It's a quiet town but also with beautiful and colourful views! With incredible sunrises and sunsets! The biggest cities are almost a half hour far away with bus.
I would recommended to someone who is in a mood to study, to get known with the citizens and the other students from there and is in the mood to have party and fun in their way! They know how to party! Most of the times they're going out on the weekends. But if you want there is the ESN Oviedo that you can enter and take part to trips all over Spain and parties during the week.

What is the student lifestyle like in Aviles?

The students lifestyle is like studying during the week and go out to party on the weekends. Also many coffees and beers during the breaks of the university!

How much does it cost to live in Aviles?

The rent with roommates it costs almost 180-220euros/month. So it costs in general 400-450 to live there, but spending money carefully!

The better way to find accommodation in Aviles with roommates is to post notes in the universities and also look there for other's people notes.

You have to ask for good places to eat but there is lots of them and in big portions.

The nightlife in Aviles it's good on the weekend if you have good company, good friends with you to visit the good places. I don't remember names but I have done the biggest parties in Aviles!

What advice would you give future students heading to Aviles?

Don't go there having on mind that you will pass 6 months partying! If you don't feel like dancing without reason, or if you don't feel like walking around the city or taking advantage of every single hour of your living there or make spanish friends...Don't go!
