Why I created this blog
Hello everybody, my name is Nick, I am from Thessaloniki and I am studying Primary School Education. Right now I am Erasmus in Faro, in Portugal, in the university of Algarve, since September, but unfortunately my Erasmus is finishing on 20th of July and I will come back to Thessaloniki. I created this blog because I know how difficult it is, in the beginning, to go on Erasmus in a country that you don't know the language (I did not speak Portuguese when I first came to Faro) and how important it is if there are people that are willing to help you with anything you need. I am willing to answer all your questions and help you with anything you want. My Facebook name is Nick Thelesi. Feel free to add me or send me a message with everything you need. I guarantee that you will have a crazy time in Thessaloniki and that you will remember it forever. I speak English, Portuguese and Spanish.

Hi Nick! I'm studying early childhood education in Helsinki University and coming to Thessaloniki also in winter semester 13/14. I have a problem with the EICL (or how was it written?) language course. It would be great to take the 6 week course and meet people before the actual studying and the course propably would make the beginning easier. I just can't leave that early (january). So I can't take the course and I'm worried that it's gonna be difficult with the language and meeting people and so on.. It's nice that you maybe can help :) Do you know if there is any shorter language course in your university or some another place for exchange students? Another than the EILC cource that is organized by erasmus? Thanks for your great help! - Mari
