Generally, what is American University of Beirut like?

It is a big university with more than 8000 students. It has one of the most beautiful campuses since it is all composed of greenery, with an landscape that is completely different fron all universities i've seen and visited, in as well as outside of lebanon

What are the facilities like?

There are alot of buildings that are sometimes very far from each other
Some of them are very modern and cozy, and some are still the same way they were more than 30 years ago, which preserves the heritage of the university

What are the tutors like?

The tutors are very friendly, always ready to help

Are the lessons easy in American University of Beirut?

No. They're pretty hard; it is not easy to score a high grade on a exam without really suffering
It too much more time and effort

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

Yes it does, activites such as student elections, AUB Oudoors which is an annual weekend carnaval, Big4 & after which is a competition with physical and mental challenges

Do you think there is a good quality of teaching?

Yes. Our professors are almost all in possession of PHD and always try to relate the lessons with real life cases.

Are there any stories you can share?

It is just an awesome place that can drive you crazy sometimes, but at the same touches your heart so deeply that no other thing can touch it in the same way..
