Asunción is a tiny city to live in, everything is really nearby, the public transport isn't very good but it's always there, and the taxis are cheap to get around in.

What is the student lifestyle like in Asunción?

The atmosphere at the university is really good, there's a lot of solidarity between the people there.

How much does it cost to live in Asunción?

You can live comfortably on €300 a month, €100 for accommodation, €100 for food and €100 for leisure activities. You can live like a king off €500 a month, if you have it; everything is cheap, you can have a good meal for €3.

Was is difficult to find accommodation in Asunción? Can you give any advice?

Accommodation is the easiest thing to find, you can even rent a room in a hotel with breakfast incluided for $250 a month.

What is the food like there? What are some of your favourite dishes?

The food is good and cheap, my favourite dishes are bife cogua (a piece of fried meat hidden inside a fried onion and fried eggs inside) and the surubi milanese are really good. In general, everything is good.

What places would you recommend visiting in Asunción?

Honestly, there aren't that many places, you can find out everything about the cultural places here in 1 day. As for places to spend your free time, you can go to the Paseo Carmelita, it's like a shopping centre, it's where all the bars and clubs are.

And to eat in Asunción? What are some of your favourite places to go?

Lido bar, Bolsi, la Vienesa, the Mariscal Lopez shopping centre.

Where would you recommend for a night out in Asunción?

Paseo Carmelita and clubs, like Coyote Glam, Kandi, etc.
