Generally, what is ArtEZ institute for the arts like?

It is a very well educative institution with a focus on the industry and the knowledge on different skills in your pathway; which I found personally very useful as most of the art schools have an lack of connection to the industry. ArtEZ insitute of arts is for arts in other words, you also learn to sell your 'art' afterwards and be a multitasked employee.

What are the facilities like?

They have different workplaces where students can work till 9pm in the evening, they have computer workplaces with 2 big printers, there are screen printing workplaces who also offer variety of short workshops to learn how to use them correctly, beside this there is a ceramic workplace and another building right beside the ArtEZ Main-building with Video-Editing workplace including a filming studio as well as big spaces for fine art projects and the assistants are all very friendly and helpful till 4pm every day, some even longer. After that you can still use the workshops till the school closes at 9pm and there is no restriction of using the workspaces, every student of every pathway is allowed to use the different workspaces.

What are the tutors like?

The tutors are very much focussed on the commercial side of your pathway, which means they do try to teach you how to get in the end of your study a real payed job; the internships usually in 3rd year are a very helpful asset to this idea. The country netherlands, generally supports ArtEZ especially the fashion pathway and fine art their students with a lot of benefits and collaborations within the dutch industry of fashion and art.

Are the lessons easy in ArtEZ institute for the arts?

it depends of your pathway and your own requirements, some not some yes.

Does the University organise activities? If so, what are they like?

exchanges, exhibition visits and short trips.
