Was it difficult to find accomodation in Arequipa? Do you have any advise?

It was easy finding a place to live. Just be aware that some will look good on the outside, but they're just trying to make a profit and charge exorbitant fees. The minimum monthly price of a room should be around $80 USD and it can vary according to what you're looking for.

It's a good idea to have a wide variety of prices and/or double-check the amount before renting a room.

Be careful at night with the taxi drivers, there are places where you can't go out on your own so always take precautions.

Delicious. Spices are liberally used so be careful and avoid trying the stronger dishes for the first few days. Don't drink the tap water.

Mirador de Yanahura, the churches, the Eye of Characato, Sabandía, the Armas square and the museums.
