Tucano

Hey hey! :)

Today I'd like to write about a coffee place in my hometown. I'm living in Arad, Romania and everytime I'm home I love to go and have a cup of coffee or a smoothie. 

Arad is the third largest city in the west of Romania. It's also close to the border with Hungary and from Arad you can easily get to Budapest in less than 3 hours.

Tucano is the name of the coffee place.It is located in the shopping mall called "Atrium". Also close to the main bus station and also close to the train station, well it's exactly in between of these two. 

I was so happy when they opened this coffee shop because it's different than the other coffee shops in my city. I like the style of this coffee shop, the drinks but even more I like the fact that it has a lot of board games that you can take and play while you are staying there. 

My hometown is a really lovely city, but small for me, so I love when something is happening or opening. Something new to capture my attention. When you live in a city for all your life, everything feels the same, old and it begins to feel like a routine. You go to this place to have coffee, have lunch there, dinner there. You know exactly what options you have and when you try most of them you feel the need of something new. Maybe it's just me, maybe I only think this. It might be from the fact that I had so many changes to visit different cities and countries and when I go back home I'm not content anymore with what's in the city. But when they opened this place I really loved it. I went there several times with my family with my friends, to have coffee or fresh juice or to eat something. I enjoyed being there, I loved the atmosphere, the way it's design ( the place), it's hippie style, colourful, energetic. So it became my new favorite place in the city. 

They have in the menu tasty stuff <3 From teas to coffee, smothies, fresh juices, to sweets and milkshakes and also a diverse menu for food, like sandwiches, salads and other.

Everytime when I'm home after a long period of being away, I go here, have a cup of coffee and just relax. This is my place. Usually when I'm back, I need to meet up with friends so we can chat and have qaulity time together. We like to talk a lot so we need a place that it's nice and where you like to spend your time in. 

I'll post some pictures here with what I ordered several times so you can see what they offer.

As you can see from the photo below, this was one of the days when I went out with my sister and my brother for brunch. We all had a large cup of coffee, different coffes; my brother's was the one with the sign of leafs, mine with the heart and my sister's the white one.

I know what you are thinking, is that coffee legal?:)) Yes it is, because it's not made out of the "real thing"...but it's pretty delicious. My sister I guess she took salty caramel latte, because she loves caramel and I had something...cappuncino with hazelnut, I think. But they have so many flavours so you can choose. 

Also cakes and salty stuff. Oreo cake --> Happiness!!! The white one was made out of nuts and white chocolate, and then the other two were salty. Chesse cake buy salty, made out of different kind of cheeses and my bro had a sandwich, I don't remeber with what, but it was super tasty. All of them were in fact. That's why I love this place, everything is tasty and fresh and yummy and the prices are affordable. 

Well, the cakes are aroun 3-4 euros, coffees the same 3-4 euros and the food more, but you can find also really good salads and sandwiches for 4 euros or more.

In the summer but not only then, they have this milkshakes or lemonades. 

Oreo milksake, Lemonade and something something with a lot of goodies :)) it's also a milkshake with ice cream, chocolate, hazelnut and cream on top. 

Yeah, it a drink and also a dessert, really sweet and soooo good! Also for these I paid 3-4 euros each. 

This was after a shopping day, sales everywhere in the mall, you get tired then you need to seat down and have a drink. 

I think when I took this photo was my first time at the Tucano coffee and I ordered a Tea with orange juice, I never had that before and I said , well let's see how it is. It was really delicious. Hot teas or iced teas, always good depends on the weather or your mood.

I love this place, it has so many cool drinks and It's true what it says on the table, the writing :"Love, Peace, Coffee" . 

Romanians also like their coffee a lot and the quality time with a friend over a cup of coffee. So it's also popular like in Greece to go and stay in a coffee place few hours. Our coffee shops are fancy and nice and full of people must of the time. In the mall Atrium, where also Tucano is; located at the ground floor next to one entrace. There are many other coffee shops in the shopping mall but even more around the city. Different styles and locations but this is place Tucano is closed to bus and train station. So if you have to wait for your bus or train you can come here, have a coffee and then go back to continue your journey.

If you have the chance to visit my lovely hometown Arad, you should also go and grab a cup of coffee in this place Tucano.
