Job description

• Describing points of interest and culture

• Developing your own walking tour(s)

• You decide your working hours

• Make a personal connection with travelers; share personal stories as to bring everyday life & culture alive for your guests

• Helping guests with any questions they might have

All our tours work on a tips only basis. This means you will get paid by the customer in the form of tips. In practice, this means that if you are good, you can make a day’s salary in about 2 hours. We at AiroTour believe strongly in the concept of tours for tips only. We believe this system brings out the best in you as a tourguide and also makes sure that on average a guide makes a bit more than he would working for a normal tour company. This system makes sure that our customers are happy and our guides are happy too!

We will provide you with the groups and online marketing.

Desired Skills and Experience

Passion for people, your country, culture and traditions

Fluent in English and/or Spanish

General overview and knowledge of history or willing to learn

Flexibility, teamwork and leadership skills

Stress resistance

Tour leading or guiding experience would be an asset but is not a must
