It's like living in any other country in the Indian ocean, meaning to say: you have welcoming people, some wonderful places and some less wonderful ones. It somewhat looks like an old calmy but sometimes a city of manifestations.

Students here are hard workers, they seem like enjoying their study and their free times, since here intensive courses are very rare.
How much does it cost to live in Antananarivo?
Very cheap if you are from a european or American country, so so for others.
Is it difficult to find accommodation in Antananarivo? Is there any advice you can give?
It's not that difficult, you have a satisfying "pensionnat" not so far from the university.
What is the food like? What are your favourite dishes?
Malagasy dishes are delicious, they eat rice three times a day. But sometimes, it tends to be too fatty!
What places would you recommend visiting in Antananarivo?
The queen's palace.

Not really!
What advice would you give future students heading to Antananarivo?
The university and city of Antananarivo is not that bad compared to other African ones, Malagasy people are friendly and welcoming.
