People love Antalya during spring, hundreds of tropical flowers blossom however I prefer autumn, the heat of summer decreases to reasonable degrees but the Mediterranean Water is still warm, 26-28 degrees C.
Archaeological finds-remains in the Museum are brilliant, biggest Tunnel Aquarium is amazing, Botanic Gardens of Expo2016 are gorgeous, Old Town and Night Life is interesting but my favorite are Sculptures of ‘sandland’ in Lara Beaches, East of Antalya.
I have adapted recently again the summer diet of locals: watermelon and cheese.
Belek Beaches of Antalya are one of the major spawning ground of Loggerhead Turtles (caretta caretta) are on the red list of endangered species. They lay their eggs on certain beaches only where NGO Volunteers watch the baby turtles until they reach the Mediterranean safely.
