Hi everyone,
I am a student at Electrical Engineering (B.Sc) department in METU. Feel free to ask me questions if you have. I would like to imply that ALL COURSES IN METU ARE ENGLISH (at all departments and all degrees, B.Sc M.Sc Ph.D)! also you are not asked to know any Turkish. This is the website( http://oibs3.metu.edu.tr/View_Program_Course_Details_64/ ) where you can find the offered courses for departments (don't click on the departments with '(Kuzey Kıbrıs Kampüsü)' because these departments are not in Ankara, they are in Cyprus.
I hope the best for you!

I am a student planning to do research in Ankara. I would prefer non smoking roommates and I am not comfortable with drugs. I do not mind alcohol but in moderation. I tend to study a lot but I mostly spend my time outside of the room. As long as I have I place to sleep, cook and shower, I think I will be fine. I don't have a premium erasmus account, so please send a private message if you are intersted

Hey you guys! Greetings and positive energy from The Canary Islands (Spain)!!
I'm Rebeca and I'm going on an Erasmus program during the first semester at Ankara University. My degree is Modern Languages (English-Chinese). I'm an open minded person who loves nature and psychedelic stuff (I don't take drugs though). I'm vegan and I respect people, and I'd be glad to meet adventurous people to travel with and find a nice, and cheap flat to live in for these intense 5 months:) Fear is not a word in my dictionary so don't be fussy and dare to experience life with crazy people like me!!
Send me a private message if you have some valuable info about accomodation or whatever you want to share with me:)
Love,
Rebeca

Borja Castellano Written 9 years ago
Hi everyone! I'm Borja, from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, a beautiful city on an island in Spain, very near to Africa :) I study Modern Languages in my city and I can speak Spanish and English with a certain easiness, I can also speak a bit of Japanese and I'm still a beginner with Arabic and Chinese.
I will be spending a year in Ankara studying in an Erasmus programme. I would be very happy to meet new people, from everywhere but specially from Turkey (although I don't think that this is going to be a problem in Ankara, hehe). If you have been living there and can give me some help I will be very grateful :)
I'd also love if you could tell me about accomodations and shared flats, even if you want to share with me it will be great, just contact me and we can talk about that or other things if you want.
Regarding myself I'm a calm person, I don't smoke nor drink, I like meeting new people and places, I love trying new food (if it's Halal I want to taste it ^_^). I also consider myself quite open minded, so it's no problem talking about several topics if we keep respect for each other.
Peace and Blessings :)
