We are searching for English speakers worldwide who live abroad and are eager to show the place where they live!
We are not searching for professional tour guides, we are focused on bright, cool and interesting people who can show their city with a personal touch during their FREE TIME!
How does Localie work?
***In the following text “the Local” is the Localie who will be doing the routes.
Having received a request for a walk, the Localie reservation department gets in touch with the Local.
The Local either confirms whether or not he/she is available for a walk.
If the Local can take a walk, the Localie reservation department confirms the availability to the traveler.
If the Local can NOT take a walk, then it’s okay, we will look for another Local who can take a walk.
After confirming a route, the traveler pays 100% of the cost of tour through the Loсalie platform, which means for the Local 100% guarantee that the walk will take place.
After paying for the trip, the contacts are exchanged between the traveler and the Local.
\ Day of a walk \
After this day, within maximum of a week (including holidays, weekends, etc.), Localie pays a reward to the Local deducting the commission to the service. The payment is done to the Local’s bank account.
What is the commission?
1st walk per month 29% of the total cost of the walk
2nd - 8th walk per month 24% of the total cost of the walk
From the 9th walk per month 19% of the total cost of the walk
Duration of Localie walks and Rates
Half day walk (up to 4 hours) 69 euro price for a traveler
Full day walk (up to 8 hours) 99 Euro price for a traveler
Prices for a group up to 4 people
*** A commission deduction is done from these prices
How can the Local increase its income?
You can offer additional services:
-Photosession
-Accommodating the traveler in the Local’s house
-Offering Roadtrip
All these services are OPTIONAL, thus, they depend upon the desire and availability of the Local.
The price of each service is 69 euro in addition to the cost of the walk.
