Searching for a newlywed flat

Who are we?

My name is Daniela and my husband is Luis, we are a couple of Mexican newlyweds, from Monterrey, a city in the northern part of Mexico; my husband is 27 and I am 24, we got married on April 2018. We both major in Financial Management in “Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey”, Mexico.

We love our jobs in Mexico, I am a Financial Planning Analyst and he is a banker but, as we love challenges and new adventures, we are seeking for new experiences in order to be more prepared for the really competitive job market we are experiencing nowadays, so, we are starting a new chapter of our lives in The Netherlands, my husband is starting his MBA on September, he will be attending Nyenrode Business Universiteit and I'm planning on studying Dutch, and probably looking for a part-time job.

We are both responsible and organized people, I have lived with roomies since I was 19 and we have both experienced life abroad. He lived in Nice, France for six months while in college and I lived in Beijing, China last year, I did an internship there while studying Chinese. We are both curious people, we understand cultural differences and we love learning new things from people around the world.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a furnished (basics at least: washing machine, bed, stove, microwave, etc.) and fully equipped studio or a small apartment. Although we are young, we appreciate tranquility in our home in order to be able to focus on our studies, so we would love a nice, calm and safe neighborhood, preferably in Amsterdam, but we are okay if it is in Harleem, Diemen or a city near Amsterdam.  

We have a budget of 700 – 800 euros for rent per month, with bills included
