Looking for a room/shared flat within 25 minutes bike ride from UvA

Hi!

I'm one of many looking for any kind of accomodation in Amsterdam.

Let me tell you more about myself and my traveling life!

My name is Faustyna ( originally Polish). I'm a female in my 20's, coming to Amsterdam to do my last semester at UvA ( International Relations). I have been living, studying and traveling in the US last year, then I got an intern as a business planner in one of the NGO's (educational sector) in Beijing and spent a few months down there. After that experience I had to come back to catch up with my studies in Warsaw but in the meantime did some fun conferences and simulation games (like Model NATO/UN) in Paris and Brussels as well as worked for Mexican Embassy in Warsaw. This June I did a fellowship in Berlin with Humanity in Action. I'm heading to Japan on 15th of August and I fly back to Amsterdam where I'm staying until early February. So I have lots of experience at sharing flat with international people and I truly love it!

The exact date of my arrival is August 26th and I would like to rent a room - lets say until January 26th, so it's 5 months. The first month is crucial for me as I really do need a place to stay and don't stress out about being homeless or booking hostel while I'm in Japan.


What kind of room mate I am: Thanks to my traveling experience I'm very open-minded, curious about people ( but not intrusive) friendly, talkative and fun. Even if I'm still at school I have been working hard last years so I know how it is coming back late and tired. I would never call myself a party animal but I like to go out and relax from time to time. I love dancing and I hope there are some good places in Amsterdam. I also love having a great contact with my room mates. I don't smoke but I don't mind if you do.

Why would I be a great room mate:
I'm respectful, trustworthy and easy-going person who has so many fun stories to share from all over the world and can bring you whatever you want from Japan or Poland!
