I'm a 19 year old girl looking for accomodation in Amsterdam whilst I study there

I'm looking for medium to long term accomodation whilst I take up a place to study the social sciences at the University of Amsterdam. Concerning any potential flatmates I'm easy going as long as we respect one another. Ideally I would like to be centrally located in the city; however, I'm aware that my budget may make this difficult. I'm not fussed on the size of my room as long as it allows me a certain degree of privacy. I travel alot so it's likely that I will spend periods away.
