27 yo looking for long-term room in shared app.

Hi there, This is Pol, 27, from Barcelona.

I have just moved to Amsterdam and I am currently staying in a friend's place near De Pijp until I find a permanent place to live. I have just started a two-year masters degree at UvA (International Relations). During this first year I will have quite a lot of extra time as I only have to follow a few preparatory courses, so my intention is to look for a job as soon as I get my BSN number, and I plan to be pretty focused on both my work and studies from there on. In the meantime, however, I am currently working on some freelance gigs (translation services and working for a marketing agency from NY) that I already had before coming here. I have just opened a bank account at ING and I can provide a proof of funds if needed.

I speak Catalan, Spanish and English fluently, and I am willing to learn Dutch as well, and I practice quite a lot of sport, mainly swimming, jogging and spinning (I have also tried crossfit) I studied journalism and have been working in the comms department of a market research company for 2 years, a job that I quit as I wasn't interested in it anymore. Lately, I have spent 6 months in Cape Town, SA, where I have been working in the hostel where I stayed and helping a local NGO, as well as travelling across S. Africa. Other interests include travelling, reading or photography, and I would say I'm pretty chill; utterly clean, responsible and respectful; easy-going and open-minded. You won't have problems with me bringing friends late, making noise or stuff like that. During most of the year I plan to leave the apartment early in the morning and won't get back until dinner time.
