23 y/o girl looking for accomodation in Amsterdam

I am a 23 year old student from the Basque Country, a region in the north of Spain. I would like to tell you that I am employed, but I am not :) I am going to Amsterdam to study a master degree in Ecology at UvA. I am graduated in Biology and Environmental sciences. I love to spend time in nature, and I am an absolute fan of plants. I am looking for a room to rent from september to june, and if it could be extended, better. I am very open minded and social, and I'd love to share some drinks or dinners sometimes, but I generally prefer a calmed environment at home. I am looking for a roommate to find an accommodation together. I do not really mind gender nor age.
