20 years old male on a work placement looking for accommodation in Amsterdam

I am a 20 year old male on a work placement for a year. Currently studying Computer Science at the University of Plymouth but have a year in the industry. The job is a 9-5:30 with a Tech start-up, is a year in duration and is situated close the centre of Amsterdam. 

I am a very clean, organised, pleasent and well mannered individual with interests in music. Looking for accommodation close to the centre, with good transport or not to far to cycle in, around €500 per month. Not worried about type of roommates, although I wouldn't want to share with more than 4 or 5, say, in-case of noise but get on well with both male and female roommates.
