20 year old student looking for year-long accommodation in Amsterdam

Hi, my name is Semhar and I'm looking for shared accomodation in Amsterdam. I am currently studying English Literature and History of Art at the University of Edinburgh and will be in Amsterdam for a year for my ERASMUS exchange.
I like to go out sometimes but I'm pretty relaxed and would just as soon spend some time with a book (I'm an English Literature student who pretty much embodies the cliche). I love animals though I don't have any at the moment, and I would love if my flatmates could show me around Amsterdam so I can make the most of my experience abroad :)
