19 year old future exchange student in Amsterdam from Romania

Hi, I'm a soon to be 19 year old exchange student at the University of Amsterdam. I will be doing the first term of my second year in Business Administration studies at UvA and their housing programme did not prove to be as helpful as expected. Therefore, I'm looking for a short stay accommodation for the first term (prefferably private room with private facilities). My budget is up to a maximum 600 euros. The only extra preference would be that the room is somewhere close to the University or at least to be easily and quickly reached through public transport/by bike.
