18 year old student looking for accommodation in Amsterdam

Hello, my name is Matilda, I am 18 years old and am currently living in Hamburg. I will be beginning to study at the Vrije Universitet in August, and I am looking for accommodation in the Amsterdam area, at least for one year.
I am looking for an entire apartment or a shared one with preferably female roommates of a similar age. I don't mind pets. The location should be easy to reach with public transport and allow me to reach my university in around 30 mins. It does not have to be in the city center or right at the university though.
I myself am an outgoing girl, who enjoys going out and who is especially excited to explore the city she will be living in.
As my program begins on the 19th I would like to move in during the beginning/ middle of August.
